Writing and editing humanitarian content for NRC

The challenge

The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is an independent humanitarian organisation that helps people forced to flee. NRC produces content to raise awareness and show the impact of its work across more than 30 countries. 

The solution

Since winning an editorial tender in 2023, we have written, edited and proofread a wide range of content for NRC, including impact stories, web content and reports. 

• We make sure publications are written in plain, accessible English, avoiding humanitarian jargon while maintaining a politically neutral tone.
• All material is written by human writers rather than AI, resulting in fresh, persuasive content that resonates with readers.
• We distill key facts into engaging narratives that help readers understand what is happening and why NRC’s work matters.
• We fact-check and do research to make sure statements and stats are correct and up to date.
